You Will Never Solve This [won By Dvchayz]

Post by Sebastian Lawe »

The task is simple, find the sentence derived from this image. How do you do it? Numberphile knows.
How do you change it? You can ask for the key.

Your clues.
  • Hexadecimal values (multiple)
  • Decimal values (multiple)
  • String value (one)
The first person to translate this image to its 10 word sentence wins.
All the data you need is in this image.

Note: Pairs are important, as they fare well. Keep this in mind or the effort will fail.

Edit:
The puzzle has been solved. (The cake is a lie but the pie is false.)

This image translates to a 10 word sentence.
4 is a number.

Think of this image like a QR code (that you scan with a phone), but with colours instead.
There is a key that will help you translate this image.

Hmm.. The file requires a password to be unlocked, although I am very bad at these - perhaps the password lies in with what Sebastian said "Think of this image like a QR code (that you scan with a phone), but with colours instead." Time to scan some Numberphile videos - as I remember watching the episode on translating numbers to images.. I think it was one about copyright.

I have a question, im using thisand putting the Hexadecimal color codes into the Hex box, and the words that appear in the string box as one of the words for the answer, can you just tell me if I'm on the right track or not?

You're on the right track, but there is an easier way.
