Let me explain. Let's take a look at the upcoming Wii U exclusives and their predecessors.I think it's a better move for them to make the Wii U's first big-name exclusives sequels that they know will sell well, rather than something completely new, because while that is a step in the right direction variety-wise, it's something no Nintendo fan has ever actually seen before, so it may or may not sell well. Don't get me wrong, I will definitely be picking up The Wonderful 101 at some point, but people aren't going to ask for a Wii U for Christmas because they want to play ZombiU or Assassin's Creed IV. They'll want one for the sake of playing Mario, Zelda and Smash Bros. and all that.
- Bayonetta, a successful game for the XB360 and PS3 is getting a sequel that's exclusive to the Wii U.
- Donkey Kong Country Returns, which was a highly successful Wii game (with a recently released 3DS port that is also doing well), is getting a sequel for the Wii U that will be out this November.
- There is a new Legend of Zelda game in development for Wii U, and LoZ is one of Nintendo's most popular franchises, and one of the best selling game franchise of all time.
- Mario Kart, another popular Nintendo series, will be getting a new entry this coming spring.
- Super Mario 3D Land, the 3DS's best selling game, will be getting a sequel in December.
- A new Smash Bros. will be coming to the console next year.
- Wii Fit was also a popular Wii game, and it too is getting a sequel.

Look at this picture.Sebastian Lawe wrote:I own the original wii, thats not what it looks like.
Now look back at the ad. See how the console isn't curved like this one is? That's because the console in this picture is a Wii U, whereas the console in the ad is a Black Wii, like this one:
See what I mean?
I need a shot again, that sweet adrenaline.
