but still if you're going to proclaim wii-u advertising as terrible just because they got the IMAGE wrong (it'd be worse if they labelled it as an extension, WHICH THEY DONT) then thats kinda silly

Well, that's not my point. If you look at the Wii U's bar, you'll see that Nintendo are much better off in terms of third-party support than they normally are... Kinda gets ya wondering what changed, doesn't it?

it's worth noting that games that are being released for both 3DS and Wii-U (the former not shown in this graph) are counted as 'multiplatform' for Wii-U. Some are ports of games already on PC. This list proves nothing, beyond that you just throw graphs at us with no explanation.
Does no one else wonder how the Wii U suddenly has 33-34 multiplatform games coming to it? Nintendo aren't that great with third party support, so you can't tell me that's not at least a little out of nowhere.

It could be possible that Nintendo is paying some other game companies to manufacture for their console, much like Microsoft payed Square Enix to start making Final Fantasy games on Xbox consoles.
I personally have yet to to see a graphically intensive game on the Wii U, but if Nintendo can convince third parties to cater graphics to their console as well, both the Xbox 360 and PS4 will become obsolete in the sense that their raw power won't actually be used.

Yeah, that strikes me as a likely possibility. Either that or companies were just waiting for Wii U sales to improve.
