One More Block

Climb to the very tippy top of the tree and hold your arms way up in the air.

You attempt to climb the pine tree, but visibility is poor and you cannot seem to find any good handholds.

Top of tree in butt.

A flash splits the sky. You hear a creak, and the pine tree seems to move in slow-motion as it falls toward you... You try to move, but your damaged body reacts sluggishly, only bringing your head under the trajectory of the falling tree.
Your vision flashes red, green, blue, and then black.

You are standing in an empty room. The walls are completely blank. There are no doors, windows, or distinguishing features.

You have a sharp feeling of fear, but it soon fades away.

You punch the wall.

Your vision flickers, but nothing else happens.

The wall falls. You find yourself in an abandoned mine shaft.

Also check to see if your nose has actual nostrils. Could be useful for storing candy corn later.

Headbutting the wall does nothing. The knife isn't there.

You turn around, and see that the room behind you is now empty black space. It's like the parts of the room you weren't looking at disappeared. Something in the darkness, or the darkness itself, seems to be moving and morphing. It is hard to make out details.

Punching the floor does nothing as well.

You face does not have nostrils, as you do not need to breathe.

I look at myself, see what I am wearing, how I look, and what I have on me.

Attempt to communicate with the thing.

Your body is not the one you had before.

You are still humanoid, but your head is longer and more rectangular, getting narrower toward the end.
Two long horn-like blades protrude from the back of your head.

Your body is still made of a dull gray metal, although it now has some black streaks.

Your hands and feet are slightly clawlike. You are not wearying anything.

The darkness does not respond. Perhaps there is nothing there.

Walk cautiously into the darkness. Punch anything that moves (except for yourself).
