Natron, a compositing software

Postby stephane » March 22nd, 2016, 12:37 pm

Hi everyone!

I've discovered Natron recently, and I'm so enthousiast about it that I wanted to share it with you. This free and open source software is an alternative to softwares like After Effects, Nuke, etc.

Natron 2.0

Free and open-source compositing software, available for MacOS X, Windows and Linux.

Check it there: http://natron.fr/

Features: http://natron.fr/features/

But then, it would be better if my laggy videos will look 60fps in this software xD

Try it freekboy31. But I doubt it can overcome the limitations of your hardware (if the problem of lag comes from that).

Phantomboy, you will love it! :) It's worth the efforts to learn a new software. For my part, I'm still struggling to discover all the interface and the features (I've never used sofwares like that, beginner in that domain), and I haven't yet started to dive in the doc to discover the API (and there's a lot of possibilities as we can use scripting (Python) in Natron).
