Unban Papaya And Zetta

papaya because he is far and away the best designer with actual levels in the play browser right now

zetta because he actually knows stuff about websites

unban zetta first and then see what happens if you're apprehensive about papaya

i can personally vouch for both of them

Zetta posted pornography on this site. Its considered illegal as this isn't an age restricted site (as a Canadian, this site would of had to be 18+). I don't see it happening.
As for Papaya, he has a much better chance of being unbanned in heinsite (I don't think he's done anything as severe as that). I never personally knew of him when he was banned from Atmosphir, or Voxelus though, so I can't really say much in that respect.

Alright let's pick this apart, for the sake of argument.

1: I'll acknowledge that it was against the rules.

That's not exactly very solid ground to stand on, considering the people who were just unbanned.

2: Legally speaking we've all posted "illegal content" on this site before. All of us. Ever heard of youtube? What about copyright policy? Not exactly solid ground to stand on either.

3: Ever since everyone moved to OMB, everybody seems to have forgotten the idea of "temporary bans". Everyone on OMB who has been banned has been banned PERMANENTLY, and for wide variety of things, with widely varying degrees of severity. There's no way to justify this.

3a: Both papaya and zetta have already been banned for upwards of EIGHT MONTHS. That's quite a long time if you ask me.

4: Everyone I know of who was banned on OMB was so because there wasn't anything to lose. Nobody can look at last year on OMB and say there was much that was worthwhile at all and say it with a straight face. With the Atmosphir revival there's actually something people could contribute positively to, to be productive with.

Like I said before, Zetta could help you guys a lot with the website, and Papaya has been making some excellent levels for the play browser. We all like the idea of the Atmosphir revival, so we actually would stand to lose something if we got banned again. (Near as I can tell) Tta chayz and I haven't been "misbehaving" since we were unbanned, for reasons I just explained above. I can say with 99.9% certainty that Zetta and Papaya feel the same way.

also papaya and zetta have been banned for quite a lot longer than most of us

also they could also really help us with atmosphir

also the project could die if we dont get more veterans in on this

Anywho. With the rest of what you said, I agree that we need more people helping with this project. Thing is, we also need to drag in a bigger audience.

If there's no audience, this project will be in vain.

From my perspective of the matter, Papaya has matured at least somewhat since his Voxelus ban expired. I can't say the same about Zetta however. Papaya's actually used Voxelus to try and help us get back on our feet, and he seems to care a lot about the revival effort. I'd absolutely love to be able to say the same about Zetta, but honestly, his recent Vox posts really haven't come across the same way at all. He simply continues bashing everything about OMB and frankly, I just think he's WELL past the point of no return in that regard.

So I would say definitely unban Papaya. I won't try to hold back the moderators from doing the same with Zetta should they decide to (I'm not a mod, so it's not like I could do much about it), but I would also advise the mods to be cautious about doing that.

Sorry that I haven't posted much on the matter here, I have been kind of swamped as of late. I want to talk with the rest of the moderators, but I have really liked getting to see what the rest of the community thinks. I am open for another chance type thing, I do not have full experience with everything that has happened with them (I wasn't really part of the team then) however, I have been able to chat with Wowfunhappy, and a few other moderators. I don't believe we all necessarily agree, but are trying to remain fairly open minded.

So, I personally, don't have any major oppositions on the matter regarding Papaya. However, I know that I am not the best person to comment on this. So, those be my thoughts. I will likely go and chat with Papaya a bit, so I will keep you guys informed
