If Windows 8 is what one is using, I suggest upgrading to Windows 7.

Words of wisdom, right there.

I actually tried Win8 on a touch device at Sony a few days ago and it wasn't so bad. I just think that Microsoft should just stop trying to give the same OS on a tablet and on a PC.

Indeed. Windows 8 is a great touch experience, but Microsoft tried to fix what wasn't broken and decided they wanted all their platforms to look and feel the same. If you've noticed, Windows 8, Windows phone 8, and the Xbox 360 pretty much have the same UI (there are still some subtle differences though).

Most desktop computers are not touch friendly Mr.Microsoft
