I smell Starbound? Looks cool, though.

I really cannot wait to see some gameplay footage like Christina Aguilera (I will explain this if someone asks), and perhaps get my paws on a demo? I have some awesome YouTubers who (while constantly annoyed by me) will probably do a video on a good game if I asked :3

Well, there really isn't much to play right now. After I add some more blocks, fix the physics and add crafting, I'll probably release a demo.

Wow, this looks great :) Made in Unity you said? I don't think I've ever seen something in true 2D made in Unity, only 2.5D and 3D. Keep up the good work!

Yeah, pretty darn awesome, in the latest version Unity comes with an epic 2D mode with all the necessary goodies too.

Looking very cool :3 So, what does the game currently play like? As far as mechanics and what not? It looks very interesting so far!

Okay, small update:

Unfortunately, there are no mechanics yet. I'm planning to add special attacks, combos, levels and flying.
Right now I'm working on bugfixes and making the inventory FINALLY work. Also, equipment and armor.

Also, about crafting - how should it work? I don't really want a boring 1-click system like in terraria. I was thinking of making a system similar to minecraft, where you
arrange the items in a certain pattern. Any ideas?

Very exciting! I can't wait to see more :)

Ah, yeah arranging items perhaps in various different appliances? like iron forges, writers table and etc.. :3

I played a game that implemented crafting like this: When you open your inventory, you can select items by clicking on them. There are buttons on the bottom of the screen "Equip," "Craft" etc... So to craft a stone sword, you'd select two pieces of wood and four pieces of stone and then click "Craft." The wood and stone would be consumed, and a stone sword would be added to your inventory.

Just an idea though, thought I'd throw it out there.

So are you going to release an alpha soon? Or at least a signup for the alpha/beta? If so dibs on the front of the line! ;)

What if you just threw random items into a machine and hope you got lucky and something popped out.

I've decided to change the character due to physics bugs. It didn't fit with the theme I had in mind, anyway.

Any ideas on what the characters should be? I was thinking something non-humanoid - something new.

Also - about crafting - I decided to use a minecraft-ish crafting system. Will post some screenies soon.
