It is expensive, yes, but building these planes from scratch only costs you about 10 bucks per fuselage, and if you pick out the right power system, you can move it from plane to plane, so you save in the long run.
Then there's of course the huge gas planes, I'm too poor and scared to try those

I thought about doing that as well, it looks like it's loads of fun racing these things. When I get the money, I'm totally investing in FPV and multirotors.

The prop broke because it skimmed across the asphalt, but the rest of it was fine. I would've tossed it again if I hadn't left my spare props at home. Landing on grass or mud is fine though.Phantomboy wrote:Wow, beautiful sky! Did it survive the landing?
