Watch me almost kill myself while trying to build an RC plane that actually flies.

Wow, that is incredible! I am genuinely very excited to see it fly :) I never really got along with the whole RC craze as it is both very pricey and doesn't favour those who live in cities-- but I do thing they are quite neat!

Stopped counting after 15. Hot glue is worse than super glue though.

Thanks!
It is expensive, yes, but building these planes from scratch only costs you about 10 bucks per fuselage, and if you pick out the right power system, you can move it from plane to plane, so you save in the long run.

Then there's of course the huge gas planes, I'm too poor and scared to try those :P

I thought about doing that as well, it looks like it's loads of fun racing these things. When I get the money, I'm totally investing in FPV and multirotors.

There's this guy that shoots amazing videos using his tricopter:

No, I did not bother with subtitles, you'll have to figure that out for yourselves :P

The prop broke because it skimmed across the asphalt, but the rest of it was fine. I would've tossed it again if I hadn't left my spare props at home. Landing on grass or mud is fine though.

Also, if you're skilled (and a little insane), you could catch it as it flies by :P

Ah, good-- at least it seems fixable.

And-- haha, I would not be trying that, and I hope aren't either!! Please don't purposely angle the thing at yourself to try and catch it!!!
