Aerobatics With A Rc F/a-18

I built another foam plane and took it out for a spin today:

Includes some high speed passes, loops, and my first time trying inverted flight outside of a simulator.
The aprupt ending was caused by the propeller not being tightened down enough. Fortunately I found it not too far from the plane. No damage done to anything.

My favourite fly-by from today:

I need to either find a camera with a narrower field of view, or not fly my plane that far away. For now, this is all I get, unless someone volunteers to film my crashes.
If it's broken, fix it.
If it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

Thats really awesome! What kind of motor and battery do you use on that thing? Because it seems to be hella good!

Thanks!
I used a small electric brushless motor that pulls about 30A at full throttle, and a 2200mAh lipo battery.

That is really amazing! What's the farthest this thing can go?
I need a shot again, that sweet adrenaline.

Thanks!
In theory, the range of the transmitter is about 1.5 kilometers. However, you start to get in serious trouble when you fly too far and can't see how the plane is oriented, so unless you have a live video feed from the plane, you need line of sight.
That flight was probably max. around 100m away.
