New Content For Atmosphir

I think that Atmosphir can use some new blocks and objects.
for example:
New Castle Set that is not a Sand Castle
There are also some objects that would be good to have that are not there: like
Urban lights, light fixtures and light posts.(that are actual light sources)
There are cool pastry blocks that could be expanded into other types of blocks; like interactive, falling, moving and so on.
Tables and chairs... cage needs a metal bar door that is a moving platform... Moat set I think is missing an outside corner piece.

I can build and texture all of the above if I work with a developer to add it to the game.
We can also make a list of other things that people would like to be made...

I think the problem is that we don't know how as I don't think we have the unity project to make additions like this to the game (if I am wrong feel free to correct me, I'd like to know for sure). But if it is possible (or becomes possible), these are some good starting ideas.

As far as I can tell, MiSt is keeping all the code to itself. Sadly, otherwise we would be trying to get Atmosphir up and running again.

I am waiting on Nin to weigh in. So if he / she says it can't be done that will resolve this post.

You probably COULD, but it'd only be seen on your client.

All this is true.

With what we have now, the best we can do would be to get the game working 100% in the state it was when Atmosphir shut down. Without the game code we, unfortunately, can't add anything else.

How does Nin is fixing it and updating it without the source code?
How many programmers are working on this project at the moment?
Just curious :)

He "fixed" it by changing a boolean in some file somewhere that determines what IP the server connects to. Basically he just made a new server from scratch that the game could talk to. He never altered the games source code.

As for how many are working on it now? Probably none since voxelus is coming out and we've basically reached the limit of what we can do without the source.

Not out, as far as I know.

You could always use a packet sniffer to see what the client tries to send out during a multiplayer request to get co-op and multiplayer working.
