Virtualboyke's Wet Dry World
Hi,
Around the year 2008 I made my first level for Atmosphir, Wet Dry World, and I decided to upload it so other people could play it as well. Some time later, a new feature was launched on the website, called "Level Of The Day" (LotD), and to my astonishment, it was my own level that was featured!
Pretty excited, I took a screenshot of the announcement and felt happy I pleased some people with my level. Not so long after, I focused more on school and other things in my life, and I forgot about Atmosphir.
Around 2011, I came across this screenshot and I decided to check up on my account and see how my level was doing! But it seemed that in the meantime, Development of Atmosphir had stalled, and later picked up again by others, only to have changed so much that I didn't recognize it. The .exe I had downloaded didn't work online, my account and level had disappeared from their servers and the site was totally different.
I did some more research and found out that the game had a major make-over, and people who wished to keep using their account had to let them know, or it would be deleted. (Which I didn't do.) Also, it seemed that my username and level appeared somewhere on the loading screens of the new game (before it stopped working) and that people seemed to know my name. Because of that, I decided to rebuild Wet Dry World from scratch. After I had done that, I discovered I couldn't upload levels to the servers so the level was stored on my hard drive and forgotten.
Until 2 days ago, I had forgotten all about it until I stumbled upon this site and decided to finally upload my Wet Dry World, in the hope that it wouldn't be lost again.
So here is Wet Dry World! It is the version from 2011, which is as closely to the one from 2008 as I can remember. The 2008 version is lost forever. :/
Have Fun!

Just out of curiosity, what was your Atmosphir name?
For the actual topic of this thread: I never got a chance to try this level out because I joined in 2010. I will definitely take a look later. :3
I need a shot again, that sweet adrenaline.

Well, I thought I had responded to this, but maybe I'd just read it instead then...
I personally enjoyed your level a lot when it came out, and wasn't too shocked it was featured as the first LotD. Congrats, again.
Also, I'll have to see if I can actually play this... Nostalgia FTW.

I've been around since 2008. And I'm old. Yay. Pretty sure I notched a fair amount of LOTD/XPs but somehow always like my underrated levels more. Go figure. My best design days are behind me, but I'll try to not be too shabby.
