Neige (out Now)

Post by ElectroYoshi »

Winter-themed sequel to Sable! And it's out now! Took way longer to finish than it probably should've, but whatever.

On a side note, I wanted to get outside help playtesting, but unfortunately I wasn't able to. If you find any exploits in this level, please tell me about them, preferably with a screenshot, so that I can go back into design mode and fix them.

So, with that out of the way, check it out and enjoy!

That looks dangerous.
If it's broken, fix it.
If it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

I'm guessing you're talking about the spikes in the second screenshot?

Ah, I see a sprawling spider-web of triggers off in the distance!

Listening to the spike traps go up and down over and over during playtesting was really, really, REALLY grating on my ears. I did that so they'd shut up once I got across.

thats pretty clever actually

main reason I avoid using firebirds and spike traps in my levels is because they make such an annoying noise

Why is the name Neige? Beige with an N?

Oh, and it looks nice.

It's called Neige because that's the French word for snow. It's the same general thing I did with Sable, which is French for sand.

Also, thanks. Glad ya think so. :3

Took me a while to get around to playing it but I did and it was really good! Well made in general with a great atmosphere. I really liked the campfire idea as well as the good use of sticky powerups. Well done!
