Astragalus Small16
I haven't decided on a name for this level yet, but I will be entering it in Small16. It's still in a VERY early stage, but I do have one picture to share atm:
Edit 2/4/16:
Forgot to turn the preview sun and fog back on before I took this, but whatever.

Oh, that looks very nice, friend! It is really neat to see how many levels are sticking to the grid, which is pretty neat to see, sort of a retro! I'm very excited!

This level will probably be ready to go by the end of this week.

This looks pretty interesting. Just hoping you can at least jump the length of one block

Re: Electro's Small16/comeback level
So I overestimated the amount of time needed to finish it... It's done! Will someone please move this to LS and rename it "Astragalus", please? I'd do it myself, except I can't figure out how...

Re: Astragalus Small16
Well i've played it. The visuals were nice for what they were, the platforming was fun and challenging. The main problem were the "puzzle" elements, if you can even call them that. I'd prefer to call them the "what the fuck am i actually supposed to do". The block at the start taking 2 bombs isnt normally something done (although, since I have the rocket launcher, it only took one bomb), but by far the worst offender was the moving platform shooting section. You offer no indication of what you're meant to do. A small cutscene or even an info sticker would have sufficed, but instead I was stood there for near 15 minutes trying to figure out what to do.
Kinda ruined the experience for me.

We yell at fox when he gives us a version of his level to test so you must understand how mad we were when that problem was in your final version.

Made a few changes to address some of the issues Fox brought up. It should be a bit less frustrating now.

Yeah that was my point. We give you grief over mistakes in a test when he didnt even give a test, which means the anger was multiplied ten-fold.ThatOneFox wrote:Except he didnt give us a version to test...
