I Really Want This Game!!!

While there is a army of hatred towards the Final Fantasy XIII series I have loved every single bit of it. Now, I really want the third installment.

I really, really, really, want this game (I've been listening to the entire soundtrack for the game to try and satiate myself).

I want the game so bad that I've decided to pre-order it. I might put out a review once I get to play and finish it this February.

Semi-serious question: How many FF games are there?! They're making a series out of the thirteenth one? Sounds like they're worse than CoD at this point.

I think the "main" series is up to 14 games now, but there's a lot of FF games that make a whole nother (shorter) series out of one entry (Like they're doing here). I don't know if I would say it's worse than CoD these days, but it's getting pretty darned close...

Quite true. Unless CoD can cash in further like FF and start making strategy based tactics games, it should die.

Actually, scratch that- it needs to die regardless. And we need Dice to quit making Battlefield and start making Battlefront and Mirror's Edge 2 full-time. NAO.

BTW peeps: If you get the Lightning Returns Demo, you'll unlock exclusive costumes for the actual game when it releases. Fun fact.

I never understood the FF obsession... I've tried many times to play the games but I've never enjoyed them.

I agree, BF5 can wait or BFBC3 or whatever is next, but BF4 has got to get fixed, what an utter embarrassment that game was at launch, and they are still trying to smooth everything out. Still a fun game though. They better make Battlefront as good as the originals but I just don't see how that will be possible, regardless of how good the game is. I think it may just be the nostalgia. I have confidence though that Mirror's Edge 2 will not disappoint.

I'm waiting so impatiently for Mirror's Edge 2. People said Mirror's Edge 1 wasn't that great, but I loved it. I'm sure Mirror's Edge 2 will be even better.

Yeah, BF will probably have the same frickin issues as BF4, but hey- nostalgia always wins...well, sort of.

As for ME, especially since it's supposedly open-world this time around... I'm just stoked to get a bigger, longer playground to mess around with. And there's no telling what new, more realistic parkour mechanics they have and whatnot, so yeah... I'm totally excited for it.

I agree. Mirror's Edge was amazing. It was a perfect combination of story, action, epic parkour etc...

I'm not sure if I should hope for a more open world game for Mirror's Edge 2, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere they're adding a lot more depth to the fighting aspect.

I wouldn't mind if they entirely omitted combat, the game is a parkour game first and foremost and that's why I love it.

Final Fantasy 13 is the only FF series I can stand. Any FF games prior lost my interest.
