I personally thought that there were parts of the song that were too repetitive and predictable. You kind of knew, by listening to the first few seconds of the song, what note it was going to hit next and how the music was going to progress and advance into the next portion. Having a song be predictable makes it run the risk of being: bland, boring, generic, etc. Music, like film and literature, is an art form, and IMO art should NEVER be predictable.

Other than that, it was a nice little piece of music. I love the feel it has established, and with that theme (which I assume is "war and desperation") and the way it's produced, It kind of reminds me of this:
