No really, I just like a simple menu screen. Not all of this tile nonsense.

The Xbox 360 also uses tiles, so I'm not really too picky on that part of the UI. I like metro as long as its not being used in a PC setting.

I would say that a lot of the negativity of the UI may be the result of the bad taste the Xbox-One gave at it's initial launch. So while I don't think every feature of this new Dash is going to be reinventing anything or overly popular, I don't think it is a "bad design" in fact many aspects of it look pretty good, but again, nothing overly exciting
