Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I couldn't do any coding for a week.
Anyway, big news: I'm making it voxel based. I keep changing my mind!
I will post some screenies soon.

Very exciting! I cannot wait to see what it looks like, and change is good! The finished product doesn't necessarily need to resemble the initial concept, more often than not it does not

Well, I haven't been working on the game much recently because of my MC server. I did manage to get liquid physics done, though. Here's a picture:
(yes, you're that white rectangle. Haven't gotten to character sprites yet.)

Well, while I can't really tell what that is, it looks nice nonetheless!

That's actually looking super neat
It's a minimalistic graphical take on graphics and that is very neat!

I love this take on graphics! Don't change your mind again!
If it's broken, fix it.
If it isn't broken, I'll soon fix that.

Reminds me right now of Thomas was Alone... Nice.
I've been around since 2008. And I'm old. Yay. Pretty sure I notched a fair amount of LOTD/XPs but somehow always like my underrated levels more. Go figure. My best design days are behind me, but I'll try to not be too shabby.

Huh, yes
But, I really like the progress on the game and I am excited to see what these "water physics" entail - perhaps we could see a video of them?

I will try and post a video once I'm done with fire and grass. Any suggestions for the screen recorder I should use?

Sweet
Can't wait!
If you're on windows, Cam Studio is probably your best bet for freeware. If you're willing to pay $15 bucks Fraps is probably the best screen recorder for video games. But if you're on Mac or Windows idk

Okay, I'm done with fire and grass. I'm going to try and get a screen recorder and make a video.

That is looking really neat! Is the white pixel off to the upper right, an early moon or sun? or is it part of the explosion?

Actually, I think that's an uncolored block. Guess I forgot about that one
