I'll never be as good as Dave at writing inviting opening paragraphs... so now let's awkwardly launch into the rules:
Your level must be within a 40x40x40 square. The player should not be able to leave these boundaries. You can place blocks outside this grid, but they must be inaccessible to the player.
Start building your level today!
Deadline: January 31st
Your level title must have [Small14] somewhere in the title.
On January 31st submissions will be closed, and a voting thread will be created.
I've taken the liberty of creating a template people can use for this contest to prevent their entries from being too big. It can be found on the play browser under the name "Small14 Template", but if you'd prefer to download it, you can do so here.
I'll probably enter, but I have one question: If I wanted to include visuals outside the boundaries that no one could actually reach, could I?

What kind of visuals were you thinking?
What I had in mind was having floating props or islands wayyyy out in the distance to kind of add to the atmosphere, but not actually be accessable, kind of like in Super Mario Galaxy where you see planets in the distance that are impossible to actually reach. If I remember correctly, Dave did permit this in Mini11 as long as these visuals were far enough away to not be reachable, which is why I ask.

My idea was, that just as the early design contests functioned - there is no real prize other than being featured. Then as we expand and grow perhaps there could be some bigger prizes tossed in there I could even pick up something like an amazon card at some point. You never know!
Anyways, on the topic of my level - I am still playing around with many different gameplay styles. I can't set on any sort of aesthetic yet
