Epic Free Screenshot Program For Windows

I've been finding myself having to upload images more and more lately, and it's incredibly inconvenient to ALT + PRINTSCREEN, open up an image editor, paste, save, open FileZilla, upload, copy the link, and paste.

I know plenty of people use tinygrab, but the upload limit on that scares me away. And I just found this other software that's exactly what I need.

It's called ShareX, and it's open source.

Everything is assignable to a hotkey (capture current window, capture current monitor, capture selection, capture all monitors, etc...). It captures transparent windows as well:

In addition to hot keys, it adds an item to the context menu for any file to let you upload it:

As far as the actual destinations... it supports uploading to FTP, Dropbox, Google Drive, Imgur, TinyPic and a whole bunch more. It's exactly what I needed, and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

Here's a full list of it's features.

Haha, wow that is really really convenient! I'm sure everyone has a their own preference, but this looks like one of the most "fully featured" applications that I've seen for that sort of thing!

Thanks for sharing!

That's actually pretty cool! I primarily use Postimage which I really like, so I'll probably stick with that for awhile (since I rarely upload more than one Atmo screenshot at a time), but I'll definitely check this out if I find myself uploading a ton of screenshots at once.

Dropbox does this for you, every time you press PrintScreen.

HyperDesktop is also another free screen capture/uploading client.

I downloaded this today and it actually works quite well. I dunno if I'll ever use "Print Screen" again. xD
