Music Discussion Thread

Post by tta »

CURRENT TOPIC:

Albums of which you can safely say that you enjoy the entirety of, rather than just a few songs (doesn't have to be the entire album, just has to have a decent number of songs of which you dislike 0-2 of them)
Spoiler

Abandoned Pools -- Humanistic (2001)

Red Hot Chili Peppers -- Californication (1999)

My Favorite Albums <3 -

EDIT: Thanks TLL for reminding me to add input on the end here.

I love all of Ryan Adams's albums, but Ashes and Fire really has the deep acoustic tones I look for in my favorite music.

OK Go is awesome, and this album of theirs reminds me how they are making music for fun. I like to know that a musician is human every now and again XD.

Arcade Fire's Funeral album is sad as hell, but is amazing. Again with the acoustics guys. Omg

Spoiler
Vegas - The Crystal Method

edit: woops I forgot this was a discussion

Oddly enough this is the only album by them that I've heard, but that's all you need to know that they make fantastic music.

Every song in the album is great, but "Jaded", "Comin' Back" and "High Roller" are all (super) favorites of mine.

yo do you like any other pendulum albums or just that one
I could never really enjoy pendulum's albums as a whole, but some of their singles are some of my all time favourite gaming songs

also those are objectively the best daft punk and justice albums so nice
dont recognise any other covers besides deadmau5 (please enable album titles ty)

The first one is the best, the others have some good stuff but yeah as you said, the singles are best.

c:
(I actually did that because of the collaborator's efforts involved. TourPlex, Illborf, Enigma, r3ixy, Archesta and Azura(Furthermore, what would be the point in me releasing an album if I didn't like it myself?))

k I listed the only ones that I can remember right now. I understand that it's arranged kind of weirdly so i'll explain; the albums are listed in order of how much of the album I like and how much I like it, e.g. humanistic I like all of and it's really good, californication I like almost all of and it's great, stadium arcadium is a fucking colossal album and I haven't listened to all of it but what I have heard is good, etc.

so that means sl is working for the british illuminati and is brainwashing our children, holding them back from good music like I listen to and forcing them to listen to dubstep and techno, thus making the US even dumber than they are now

makes perfect sense

Any country that tolerates rap in any capacity is obviously stupid.
