I've been around since 2008. And I'm old. Yay. Pretty sure I notched a fair amount of LOTD/XPs but somehow always like my underrated levels more. Go figure. My best design days are behind me, but I'll try to not be too shabby.

Well, it's not like Obama is going to get reelected for a third term unless he suddenly want to be a dictator or something. Therefore, I nominate Dave as candidate. :p

I know very little about Dave's political views :P

I'd probably end up voting for him though.

Lol, Let me rephrase that, as I wouldn't vote for Dave without knowing his political views. However, if he was running for president, I would come to know what his political views were.

I actually know some of Dave's political views and agree with what I know so far, so there's a good chance I'd end up agreeing with the rest of them.

This is, of course, all very facetious, as Dave's not running for president last I checked :P

Yeah, that is kind what my opinion is too- I think there is often people we really like as just that, people, and getting to know the political side is very important. It is sad to admit that often a large appeal of a candidate is their demeanor and social capabilities. Even as an Obama support I will plainly admit that a big part that he is still in office is because he has a very likeable, friendly personality. I supported him because I agreed with many of his opinions- but I am sure a candidates social image is something taken into consideration when a run for presidency is made.

Obviously of course, none of this is to be taken seriously, unless Dave was literally better than any other candidates running for office, which- heck, I guess at this point he could be... But, hey- you never know. ;-)

Well, all politicians have their strengths and weaknesses. In the debates the candidates always state their plans for how they wanna do certain things (creating jobs, balancing the budget, stuff like that) and both candidates could be on the right track in their own ways. What I'm basically saying is that no politician is "perfect", so none of them are really "superior" to the rest. Like I said strengths and weaknesses.

Are you kidding?
OF COURSE some politicians are better than most of the rest.
So, Hypothetically, You're telling me that some congressman who takes bribes for special interest and believes in a 100% tax rate is better than a congressman who doesn't take bribes and believes in a 1% tax rate?

...If there's actually a congressman in this world who operates like that, I don't know about 'im.

If a guy like that DID run for president, I'd vote against him but I can't imagine that that'll ever happen, so...
I need a shot again, that sweet adrenaline.

Yeah pretty neah look on it TLL, it's not realistic to say someone wants a 100% tax rate.

It was a hypothetical scenario designed to call attention to the fact that believing that no politician is better than another is fallacy.

Just like saying no news is good news. Or is it? 0_o

How bout those socialists?
Of course the majority of politicians don't run on a platform of a 100% tax rate.
That doesn't mean they don't want it. The political climate doesn't allow for that.

After all of the mistakes Obama made, I'm in for Dave cause he does have more talent than our current pinhead. Heck, even a plank of wood can do better than Obama!

Obama hasn't made any mistakes.

Everything he's done has been on purpose.
