One More Block

This level is set in a cave with a river of lava running through it, and the goal of the level is to make it to the end of the river.

Ooo, fantastic use of the angle blocks! Super friendly, non-mandatory suggestion: maybe add some props or alternate the blocks on the wall to break up the tiling texture just a bit! But, that is only a suggestion!!

I know that was just a friendly suggestion, but now that you mention it, the outside walls ARE kinda bland. Note to self, fix that tomorrow.

im a sucker for cave levels so im interested to see how this goes

what sort of level is this gonna be? some basic platforming junk or like an adventure open world map deal

Primarily platforming. Funny you say that, I actually did attempt to do this as an open world type level a couple of years ago, but it ended up being more annoying than fun.

Did you change the name, or was it always called "Those Who Favor Fire"? I've never mentioned this but I have a SUPER strong soft spot for sentence/wacky level titles-- those are really lovely

It actually didn't have a name at all for quite some time after I started working on it. I originally just saved it as "Cave thingy". By the time I finally decided on that name, I had almost finished it.

I not gonna say that you stole the idea. But I made cave with a river of lava running through it with tons of angle blocks too in my forest of mystery level.

this is a screen shot from my thread and it was made, half a year ago! Of course it had evolved since then and now the level has fog and stuff and the forest too but there is a striking resemblence between my level and yours.

I guess that is good then. Your not famous until people start copying your stuff.
