Well just thought of asking it here. for last two weeks, I am trying to troubleshoot some issues related with my modem. recently my friend configured my modem and enabled some kind of IP-based filtering for security reasons.
Now I am unable to connect my Xbox 360 and getting an error saying that Unable to connect Internet. I am able to browse the internet and watch movies online, Anyone has any idea what went wrong with the configuration? I am able to play other games from PC and Mobile. Any comments on this issue are welcome as I am trying to resolve it before this vacation.
thanks
AH

Re: Issue with Xbox 360
Definently the IP filtering, that only allows a specified list of ip addresses and/or ports to run through the router. It is mostly useless unless your connecting a corprate net to the public network. Get rid of the IP filtering, its blocking ports that the xbox live service needs to communicate through.
