Sorry, it's a previous thing I mentioned before.Wazi wrote:What game are we talking about?
That's the ALPHA version. It's not even beta. + Not even Minecraft is free to play. I can't remember the last time I have seen a game like that F2P. I don't care if you fund it, you don't have to get Alpha. If you want to wait 2 years and see the final product, that's fine. I just am so hyped because I get it from the start to end, and I get to be there every bit of the way helping suggest ideas for the development.Rabbidfan236 wrote:Not the type of game that this looks like. Minecraft isn't $65. And Minecraft was even LESS when it was in alpha.nonic5 wrote: That's the ALPHA version. It's not even beta. + Not even Minecraft is free to play. And your point is...?Rabbidfan236 wrote:Minecraft isn't $65. And Minecraft was even LESS when it was in alpha.
Can't tell if bragging or explaining.nonic5 wrote:And your point is...?
Look, I don't know why you try so hard to say it's a bad price. For all you get to be a part of, it's worth it. If you don't have any money, you don't have to buy it. If you don't seem interested, you don't have to buy it. You can sit and wait a year and a half, I don't mind. Just please stop being irrational just because not everyone can afford to be a part of a community and be a part of the development. Kthxbai! ^.^
You know, perhaps it is something they will focus on as I am sure there is a lot of fans on both mac and pc platforms - It is hard to say if their engine is compatible though..Soccerstar wrote:This needs to be on Mac. No joke.
They want to add it, they said it's best to prioritize on making a fun game before making mac support.Phantomboy wrote:You know, perhaps it is something they will focus on as I am sure there is a lot of fans on both mac and pc platforms - It is hard to say if their engine is compatible though..
If you can get another friend or two to save up to 75, ($25 each) you can get the alpha for you and two other people, three people total.Miniike wrote:I'm pretty tight on money right now, but I'll see if I can get $30 together. Hope I can see you guys in the beta
Ooooh... I just realized logic.Entity wrote:I still don't understand why the price will go down as it becomes a better game. If our input is really that valuable, they'll be paying us for our input, e.g. giving us the game for free.
Because your input can change the way the game works ^.^Entity wrote:I mean it looks like it's going to be a really cool game, but why pay $75 for a crappy game now when you can pay $10 for an amazing game later??
So if the devs see an amazing suggestion that you posted without you purchasing the game, they won't use it anyway even though they thought is was really good?nonic5 wrote:Because your input can change the way the game works ^.^
No they would. It's just a lot more fun being able to play the game you gave input to.Rabbidfan236 wrote:So if the devs see an amazing suggestion that you posted without you purchasing the game, they won't use it anyway even though they thought is was really good?
