Dishonored!

So I got Dishonored yesterday, and I am loving it. The story is amazing, the graphics are amazing, and the setting is simply spectacular, not to count the stellar fighting mechanics.

Anybody else played the game yet, or have any thoughts on it?

Yeah, it's Bethesda's newest game. Strangely, it isn't getting much attention-at least not as much as I would have expected.

Yeah I've done some YouTube "research" on the game it looks pretty good.

It is pretty good.

The ending is a little meh for the 'chaos' side, but cool nonetheless...

The studio who developed it, Arkane Studios, was going to work with Valve to make a Half Life game, and also made Bioshock 2. They are a very good development team.

But perhaps my favorite thing about this game is the art in the game. It's amazing.

Arkane + Valve + Bethesda = Half-Life 3 made with 3 teams.

I heard Dishonored is open-world.

Kind of. There are certain sections of the game that are fairly open, but it is mostly linear, sticking to one ultimate goal per area.

The beginning area is a prison, that's new from Bethesda. Game looks awesome. I heard it was like bioshock + assassins creed * stealth.

The game does look fantastic. I am definitely going to buy it once I have stronger hardware.
