I've merged the two threads together - and put them in technology talk
Hopefully that keeps it cleaner and more consolidated!

Dreamscene:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_DreamScene
It was an official windows-made feature for Windows Vista Ultimate users that was never used again. What I'm using is
an application that enables dreamscene the way it was in WVU, for all versions of Windows Vista and 7.
The dreamscene I'm using is
Bokeh Dreamscene by filipe-ps; he's pretty much the only good dreamscene maker on deviantart. HOWEVER, you can also download a high-quality youtube video and set that as your dreamscene.

It's the Midtown Manhattan (NY) Skyline I got it from Flickr
here. The only thing I did was convert it to black and white to fit my black and white room better.
That really tall building offset to the left slightly is the Chrysler building and in the far distance to the left is the empire state building.

Made this in cinema4d. Cleared up my desktop and moved all my icons to the second screen.

It's version 2.6, so I googled "Windows Movie Maker 2.6 download" and wound up
here. I know it says its a Vista download, but it still worked on my laptop.
