Conveniently overshadowed by the release of Borderlands 2 and most recently Dishonored, a tribute namesake to the classic X-Com series made it's way to critical acclaim amongst a small amount of players who were hyped to buy it. Tried it yet? You probably haven't, and I don't blame you... In fact, I bet you haven't even thought about purchasing Dishonored yet either- what with Borderlands 2, Halo 4, and other great games continually staring you down.
Try X-Com: Enemy Unknown, you'll be glad you did. While multiplayer is sparse, the difficulty is phenomenally challenging, the missions just right, and the tactics amazing. Oh- and it has great graphical art style as well.
Go for it, don't be afraid of the unknown...
And now- discuss.

X-com Enemy Unknown
I've been around since 2008. And I'm old. Yay. Pretty sure I notched a fair amount of LOTD/XPs but somehow always like my underrated levels more. Go figure. My best design days are behind me, but I'll try to not be too shabby.
